What's on at the NDRP.
Research Funding Round 1 online sessions​​
​To prepare for our 2025 Funding Rounds, we will be running online sessions to support anyone who wants to learn more about submitting strong, inclusive grant applications.
These sessions will focus on building understanding of the funding process, fostering partnerships, and highlighting how proposals should align with the NDRP’s commitment to research by and with people with disability.​​

The Drop-In Sessions will give potential applicants the opportunity to understand and ask questions about the NDRP's 2025 Research Funding Round One grant guidelines, find out whether it is a good fit for their project, and understand next steps for their applications.
​
Each Drop-In Session will have a maximum of 25 participants, and you must register to attend. The information shared in these sessions will also be shared on the NDRP website, and key points will be shared in our newsletter and on our social media channels.
​
The Drop-In Sessions are for anyone who is interested in applying for the NDRP's 2025 Research Funding Round One.

Co-designing Research 101

Cost: This event is free
This session gave an introduction to co-design and co-production, look at inclusive research methods, showcase co-design in action and co-design success stories, and have a panel discussion with a Q&A.​

This session provided an overview of the NDRP's approach to research funding, the Round 1 topic on safety of people with disability, what funding is available, the purpose of the funding and what information and guidance is available. The session included a Question and Answer (Q&A) session.

Auslan interpreters and live captioning was provided for the whole session.
​
The session was led by Mary Sayers, NDRP CEO, and Gillian Mason, NDRP Head of Research Program.

This session is for anyone interested in applying for the NDRP's 2025 Research Funding Round One who would like to know more, including people with disability, researchers, disability representative organisations and service providers.
